In August, the sheriff's department announced it had broken up a loose-knit gang that had terrorized the Stewartsville community.
Seventeen-year old Andrew Murray is charged with beating Richard Collins as part of a gang initiation.
Collins refused to cooperate with police, but Murray's co-defendant.. 19-year old Jerry Beckner admitted to the attack.
Beckner is serving a three-month jail term.
Murray could stand trial as an adult if he's indicted on malicious wounding charges.
