In a 2-to-1 ruling, the appeals court panel stated, that Brzonkala does have

The pair was never found guilty of any criminal violations in relation to
Brzonkala's rape allegation.

The 12 Days of Christmas definitely isn't one of the newest Holiday tunes on
the scene. While it is often listed as "author unknown" many Catholics believe
it was written in the early 15 hundreds as a way to avoid persecution.
It is said that each verse of the catchy little tune has a religous meaning.
For example 12 drummers are the beliefs outlined in the apostles creed, 10
Lords a leaping are the 10 commandments, Six Geese-a-laying are the 6 days of
creation and so on.
The true love gave to me part is believed to represent what God gives to each
Christian. Disguised in song this was a way for early Catholics to teach their
kids the stories of the bible without making it so obvious.
I don't know if that story is true, but it sure makes a lot more sense than
picturing some one actually getting all of those gifts.
None the less I still went out and tried to see which of perhaps the world's
most famous 12 gifts could still be found today. I didn't have much luck but I
had a lot of fun trying.

Police say 27- year- old Jia-Bin Chen, who is from Taiwan, is believed to
have drowned at an indoor swimming pool at Snowshoe Mountain Resort.

Ok, earlier I mentioned that it is believed by many Catholics that the 12
days of Christmas originated in the 15 hundreds as a way to teach kids bible
stories without making their worship so obvious to the law and order of the
time.
But when are the 12 days of Christmas? As much as the malls would like us to
think about the shopping days before the big event, Christian religion believes
that the 12 days are actually the days following the birth of Christ until the
Epiphany on January 6th when the wise men showed up.
Right or wrong you probably won't here the song, or any of the crazy
versions that are currently out, played too often after Christmas day.
For those of you who missed it I tried to find the gifts for days 12 through
7 in the Roanoke valley without much success.

The first and only full-time black NASCAR driver now has a street named in
his honor.
Wendell Scott was from Danville.
And now green signs saying "NASCAR Racing Legend" and Number 34, the number
of Scott's car, mark the local road.
The signs were added yesterday along what used to be Keens Mill Road where
the Scott family lives.
Scott died seven years ago.
