A state senator and his son have been charged with conspiring to defraud, misapplying funds, and lying under oath.
Next month, attorneys for Richard J- Holland of Windsor and his son will head to court to learn who might testify against the two bankers next April.
Holland, chairman of Farmers Bank of Windsor, and his son Richard Junior, president and chief executive of the bank, both pleaded innocent.
If convicted, they could face millions in fines and stiff prison sentences.
