One resident said he knew something was happening when oranges started smashing through his bedroom window.
Several families are homeless and staying in an emergency shelter.

In 1997, the United States came close to breaking a 42-year old record for the execution of murderers.
Last year 74 of about 32-hundred inmates sentenced to death were executed.
That's the highest number of executions since 1955 when 76 death row inmates were put to death.
Texas ranked first among states this year, as far as executions, with 37.

For the past two years the award has gone to Green Bay's Brett Favre. This season Favre passed for 35 touchdowns and was second in passing yards and he shares the award with Detroit's Barry Sanders.
Sanders gained 2-thousand 867 yards the second highest season total in N-F-L history and he led the Lions to the playoffs this season. The two received 18 votes each in the balloting for the award.

While on their way to the beach two fisherman came across a squid that measured 16 and a half feet.
The 300 pound sea creature normally makes its home in the Atlantic Ocean but sometimes -- as in this case--drifts out towards the Mediterranean Sea.
But, this giant creature will be safe from the frying pan. It'll be kept and preserved so tourists can view it.
