A man who shot at police in South Boston early yesterday is dead, apparently from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Four cars and a house were hit, but nobody was injured.
When Young's apartment started burning, police and firemen went in, and found him lying dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
