Some state Democrats are NOT happy with how Governor-elect Jim Gilmore's
cabinet is shaping up.
They say Gilmore is trying to use cleverly-crafted back-room deals to
engineer a Republican takeover of the General Assembly.
Gilmore has already given one Democratic legislator a job in his
administration -- and rumor has it the Republican will offer a job to the
Democrat in the predominantly Republican district of Loudoun County.
Virginia Democratic Party chairwoman Sue Wrenn says Gilmore is trying to use
taxpayer's money to buy what he couldn't win at the polls -- a G-O-P controlled
legislature.
One more Senate seat or two more House seats will give the G-O-P its
