The Virginia General Assembly's first stab at campaign finance reform has
skewered the Republicans.
A NEWS 7 investigation into party caucus fundraisers has prompted the Joint
Republican Caucus to cancel a questionable fundraiser... and go back to the
calendar to try to reschedule.

Winston Cup testing for the Daytona 500 and Bud Shootout began today for the
Ford teams, and the early indications are that the Taurus has a long way to go
to get up to speed.
Lake Speed had the fastest lap this morning at 185 point 578 miles an hour.
But that's almost three miles an hour slower than the fastest Chevy driven by
Terry Labonte during the three days of General Motors testing that concluded
yesterday.

its Spring Late Model Stock Car race, the Miller 300.
Construction on the front stretch where the speedway is adding 75 hundred new

The race was originally set for October 18th, but now it wil be held on
