An apparent skiing accident has claimed the life of pop star turned politician, Sonny Bono.
Authorities in South Lake Tahoe, California say the body of the 62- year- old Congressman was found last night, two hours after he was reported missing.
Bono is perhaps best know for his Sonny and Cher variety show that ran in the mid 70's.
