Annie Leftwich's short life was marked by abuse and neglect, according to

Dickenson County prosecutors say the four- year- old lived in filth and was

Prosecutors believe the day she died, the girl was tied to her bed as
punishment for bedwetting and gagged to death.
A Sheriff's investigator testified that the child's bed was kept in a small

Movie Review
"Titanic" is an amazing achievement. The scope is colossal; special effects
bring the event to life and give the tragedy authenticity. However it is the
love affair between a passenger in steerage, played by Leonardo de Caprio; and
Kate Winslet a lovely first class passenger trapped in a loveless engagement,
that makes us care about this sinking ship.
The story moves easily between a salvage operation in the present and
reminiscences from a one hundred year old woman who was a Titanic survivor.
"Titanic" gets and A. It's one of the few blockbuster movies that actually
lives up to the hype.
