together a year and a half ago to form "Books for Africa".
The volunteer organization has been collecting books from various sources.
It then sorts the reading material to send to schools in Kisumu
(ki-SOO-moo), Kenya, where the library's shelves are mostly bare.
"Books for Africa" sent its first donation of 38-thousand books to Kenya
yesterday.
It hopes to ship two more shipments in the spring.
