Roanoke's former federal prosecutor has enhanced his resume once again.
Monty Tucker has been named Virginia's Deputy Attorney General in charge of
the criminal division, under Attorney General- elect Mark Earley.
Tucker left Roanoke two years ago to serve as Governor George Allen's parole
board chairman.
Since then, he's also filled in as acting director of the state Department
of Criminal Justice Services.
He was appointed two weeks ago to the Cabinet-level post of Secretary of
Public Safety.

Ohio to take on Dayton.

Former Radford head coach Oliver Purnell and his Flyers came in 11 and 4
and a top the A-10 west.
His team played like the number one team; shooting the lightts out of the
gym in the first half. Watch Edwin Young take the pass and bury the three
pointer.
The Flyers continued their aireal assault before intermission. Dayton was
7 of 10 from behind the three pointt line as the Flyers had a great start
against Tech.
But the Hokies never quit. Watch Eddie Lucas drive hard to the iron and
finish with the nifty lay up in traffic.

grabs the rebound at the Flyers end. he's gonna motor coast to coast and take
it in for the shot off the window.
The Hokies with some nice passing; Lucas finds Andre Ray who goes in for
