A Lynchburg man was shot early this morning.
Police found 22-year-old Vincent E. Johnson at the intersection of 10th and Fillmore just after one-AM.
He's listed in very critical conditions.
Investigators are asking anyone who knows anything about the shooting to call them.

The state department is investigating the rape of 5 Maryland College students on a tour of Guatemala.
16 students and staff members from St. Mary's College were on a bus that was stopped by four gunmen.
Everyone was robbed, and five women were taken away and assaulted.
So far one man has been arrested.

Then Mike Wallace and Joe Ruttman battled for the lead and while going into turn three they get together and both cars spin out bringing out the caution with five laps to go.
Ruttman got back in the race and was in second place when the green flag dropped but Ron Hornaday wins the two lap shoot and Ruttman was second.

It was smooth sailing for Lyn Watkins until a gust of wind hit his canopy--sending him falling 90 feet to the ground.
But, fortunately a reserve chute cushioned his fall--he suffered a broken pelvis, dislocated shoulder and a few chipped teeth.
You'd think he want to give up the sport after that experience-- but, he now says that the sport is not as dangerous as it looks.
