Friday's attack of a student tour group in Guatemala has sent shockwaves
across a Maryland college campus.
Gunmen ambushed a bus carrying Saint Mary's College students during an
educational tour of the country.
Five of the female students were raped-- all of the passengers were robbed.
Officials say two suspects are now in custody.

Unusual circumstances surround an apparent robbery that left a local gas

Police say the suspect, whose name is not being released, did about
eight-thousand dollars in damage. No one was injured.
The man was arrested and charged with felony property damage.
A kerosene heater may be to blame for a Hillsville house fire that claimed
Rush Edmonds lived in this house alone. Investigators suspect Edmonds
spilled fuel while trying to fill a heater next to his kitchen stove.
Family members suspect Edmonds may have tried dousing the fire himself
before succumbing to a blaze that took more than half a day to put out.

Most doctors advise using a rectal thermometer, but many parents are opting
for newer devices.

In Sydney, Australia, today it was a Lego monument to drug education.
This 75-foot tall tower was built to aid Life Education, an Australian drug
awareness charity. The tower's building was supervised by two Danish Lego
