A few years ago, they filmed the movie "What About Bob?" in Bedford County, mostly in the Smith Mountain Lake and Moneta area.
Now residents say if a filmmaker ever returned, the title of their next movie should be "Ghost Town".
That's what they're afraid will happen if Moneta's railroad crossing is closed down.

And a new study also says the Pap-net system costs a lot more.
The study was conducted at the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology.
One expert said the technology might be worth the cost in laboratories that process a higher proportion of abnormal Pap smears or that employ less accurate technicians than the one in the study.
Another researcher said Pap-Net might be more cost-effective in labs where women are not always screened yearly.

Former Friday Football Extra player of the week Tyrone Robertson has decided to bypass Tech and UVa and play his college football at Georgia.

Robertson originally signed with the Hokies last year, but then dropped out of high school a few weeks before graduation.
He eventually surfaced at Fork Union Military where he played this past season.
Back in August he told us he was headed to nearby Virginia.
He later swung his allegiance back to the Hokies.
But he picked the Bulldogs so he wouldn't disappoint fans and either in-state school and because Fork Union teammate Jasper Sanks, a former Parade All-American, has also committed to Georgia. The national signing day is February 4th.

The cute little animal was born last week in United Arab Emirates. The llama belongs to the camel species but is much smaller and has no humps.
A few million years ago there was a single species in Arabia but some migrated north and settled in south America, evolving into what is known as the llama.
