((Last week the FBI swept Lewinsky into a hotel room filled with agents and prosecutors. She was shown surveillance photos of herself meeting with former co-worker Linda Tripp. Tripp had recorded lewinsky's admission that she lied under oath about an affair with Mr. Clinton. the agents kept her ten hours. Lewinsky's lawyer Bill Ginsberg says she was offered a deal.

In secretly recorded tapes, Lewinsky told her friend Linda Tripp there had been a long affair and she was encouraged to cover it up. but in a sworn affidavit she insisted there was no sexual relationship.
Sources tell CBS News FBI agents had Lewinskys consent to search her apartment in the Watergate complex. the agents had a list of items they wanted and left with Lewinsky's computer, some of her clothes and the gifts. CBS News has learned Lewinsky claims to have received from the President several items from the black dog gift shop in Martha's Vineyard, plus a dress, gold brooch and a book of poetry by Walt Whitman.))

A Giles County jury convicted 26- year old Scott Elliott of SECOND degree murder this afternoon.

The First Virginia Bank in Wytheville was robbed today by a man who claimed to have a bomb.
About 3:45 the man approached a teller in the branch on Main Street with a bag he said had a bomb.
The man left the bag and fled with an undetermined amount of money.
The bag held an empty box.
Police are looking for a white male, about 40 years old with salt and pepper hair and an off white baseball cap.

Candidate Jim Gilmore said eliminating the car tax would cost the state one point six billion dollars over five years.
Today, Governor Gilmore added the numbers up to more than 2-point-7 Billion.

It goes up every year until it is 100-percent in the year 2002.

Head Coach frank Anzalone announced today that cantu has been called up to the Saint John Flames; Roanoke's AHL affiliate.
It's is not know how long the rookie winger will be with the Flames. Cantu leads the Express with 23 goals and 14 assists.

His wife came up with the idea of using a mouthpiece to make it look like they have orange and blue teeth.
Dennis says he's proud of his new smile, even if he does get a few strange looks at the grocery store.
