The Natural History museum in Martinsville was left with just 650- thousand dollars in planning money -- which museum officials said they were happy to have.
But in a change of heart just minutes ago, Governor Gilmore ponied up ANOTHER 600- thousand dollars for HVAC repairs in the existing building.
That was accompanied by a news release that says "I undersand the Virginia Museum of Natural History is important to the people of Martinsville" and the Governor "anticipates" the millions needed for construction will be available two years from now in the next budget.
