sexually explicit material depicting children under the age of 18.
At a news conference late this afternoon, Commonwealth's Attorney Bill Petty

A single car accident in Campbell County killed one person this afternoon
and seriously injured a second.

Witnesses estimate the car was travelling about 100 miles an hour when it
crashed into a tree.

One woman is dead following a three car-wreck in Christiansburg at 6
tonight along Roanoke Street.
Rescue workers took 66 year old Lila B. Lester to Montgomery Regional
Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The driver, Cletus Lester Junior is in stable condition.
There's no word on other injuries and police are still investigating.

building on Plantation Road.
The center was evacuated as state and Roanoke County police searched it with
a bomb sniffing dog.
Nothing was found.

of the Royal Caribbean Classic at Key Biscayne, Florida.
King, making his debut on the Senior Tour, shot a first round 4 over par
75 in today's round.

Darren Daulton picked up a World Series ring with the Florida Marlins this
season.

And today just month's after helping the Marlins win the title Daulton is
ending his career.
The 35 year old Daulton announced his retirement this afternoon. After
spending most of his career in Philadelphia he played the last half of the 1997
season with Florida and is credited with providing the leadership that led the
team to the championship.

One other baseball note, The Toronto Blue Jays will make their first
appearance at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown when they take on Baltimore in the
annual Hall of Fame game on July 27-th one day after Don Sutton is inducted

California.

And it took a lot of muscles to bring in what was billed as the world's
heaviest hero sandwich.
The sandwich contained 48 pounds of meat, 36 pounds of cheeses and 65 pounds
of vegetables.
Trying to lift the Sandwich
To celebrate the release of the movie Hercules on video, a champion power
lifter tried to hoist the nearly two hundred pound hero.
Perhaps he should have taken a few bites first.
Dropping the sandwich
It seems there weren't enough muscles on Muscle Beach.
On his second attempt to lift the hero, he dropped it.
Disappointed partiers had to eat the sandwich off the floor.
