An Arab newspaper in London says the U-S has given Iraq a February 17th
deadline to comply with U-N weapons inspection demands.
The report comes as U-S Defense Secretary William Cohen travels to Kuwait,
to meet with U-S pilots who may soon be ordered to bomb Baghdad.
He's also consulting with Kuwaiti officials.
Cohen has been touring the Persian Gulf seeking backing for a possible
attack on Iraq.
But the man who led U-S troops into Saddam's backyard during the Gulf War
says as long as there is dissension among the Security Council, namely
Russia and France, Saddam still has some time.
