The United States is going to send
as many as three-thousand ground troops to Kuwait -- to boost its defenses amid
heightened tensions with Iraq.
That word comes from a senior military official traveling with Defense
Secretary William Cohen.
The official says the troops will "ensure the security of Kuwait."
According to the official, the move is aimed at discouraging "creative
