[SUPER=04-ATF Video Demonstration;]
That's why the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms videotaped a demonstration for a federal jury in Roanoke to watch.
The government hopes to convince the jury that it was something like this that started the fire at the Corner Store on Thirteenth Street and the fatal apartment fire nearby the same day.

The defense doubts it happened that way- -pointing out that the rear window is seven feet off the ground, is covered with metal bars and is nine and a half feet from the point where the fire started.
They took pictures over the weekend of an A-T-F agent at the store window demonstrating how it could have happened.

The fire marshal's office originally declared the apartment fire an accident.
The man who made that ruling was one of the first witnesses for the defense.
