in Daly City a neighborhood is perched on the edge of a slipping hillside.
Crews worked to try and secure the hill and save the homes. Experts estimate that billions of dollars in property has already been destroyed by landslides in the recent storms.
Unfortunately for homeowners, insurance policies don't cover damage from landslides.
During the past weeks, about 450 people, most of them tourists and schoolchildren, were been evacuated from the area.
