Some Roanoke County families are enjoying their third dog without having to
pay a price.
County supervisors agreed to reconsider the two-dog per household limit.
The statute requires a kennel permit for homes with more than two dogs.
While the supervisors didn't change the law, they did agree to allow 40
families who registered dog number three by January 31st to keep the extra dog.
