Attorneys for Emmett Cressell Junior will argue their case the week of March 23rd.
Cressell's accused of taking part in killing Garnett "G-P" Johnson last July.
His attorneys argued for a continuance because they did not have access to information from the state crime lab until last week.
None of the physical evidence links Cressell to the murder.
Physical evidence, however, does link co-defendant Louis Ceparano, who is scheduled for trail April 1st.

Safety on the Virginia's waterways has also made it into the House.
"Jet Skis" were the topic of two bills.
The first bill would make it illegal for someone on a personal watercraft to follow too closely behind a boat, weave past boats or jump the wake of another boat.
The second would force companies that rent the small boats to teach people how to operate them before taking to the water.
Though they represent only about 5 percent of total registered boats in Virginia, state authorities say personal watercraft are involved in more than thirty percent of water accidents.
