Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney Melvin Hill has been publicly reprimanded by the Virginia State Bar.
In 1994- -while in private practice- -Hill neglected to pay a Lynchburg chiropractor out of an insurance settlement he negotiated for a client.
Hill admits he never paid Doctor Seal Shull, but says it was just an oversight.
The Roanoke prosecutor says he agreed to accept the public reprimand, fearing the next step in the state bar's disciplinary process might be worse.
He has until December to pay the 17-hundred dollars he owes Dr.

Curtis stapled his name into the NCAA basketball fabric with 18 points in leading UVa to the final eight.
