"Dolly" the cloned sheep has some new competition for the spotlight.
Last Monday-- a cloned calf was born at Virginia Tech's Vet school.
The 98- pound Holstein was produced at P-P-L Therapeutics in Blacksburg essentially employing the same technique that was used to produce "Dolly".
The calf was named "Mr. Jefferson" in honor of his birth on President's Day in Virginia.
