who fell eight stories to her death after a night of heavy drinking.
And while authorities want to make an arrest, some believe those who
supplied the 18-year old with alcohol will never be prosecuted.

country.
On several occasions-- NEWS 7 sent an underage newsroom intern inside this
house on Houston Street where she was offered beer for three dollars.
Authorities do NOT believe the students living here had anything to do with
supplying Mindy Somers alcohol-- although her car was found parked outside the
house the same day-- the 18- year old sophomore, still wearing her camouflage
Halloween costume, fell out her dorm window to her death.

Authorities think Somers spent most of the evening partying here at this
student filled apartment complex on Clay Street-- less than a block from the
Blacksburg P-D.
One witness counted 21- kegs of beer here in the parking lot, stacked in the

student.

storm.
