Since its startup a year ago, Claude Gunn's Hill City Renaissance Center has
certainly been going in the right direction.
Twelve tenants, most of them minority- owned businesses, now occupy portions
of the old Lynchburg Foundry office building in the Lower Basin. There
are other minority business incubators like this in the U.S.-- this is the only
one to start up without any financial help from the government.

computer applications.
Instructor Jim Henderson teaches the classes in exchange for free office

player and referee.
His committment with the Big East conference ended when the last whistle was
blown in January's Bowl games.
Now you'll find him on the sidelines of the ODAC basketball tournament.

official.
