They say they have written to the Virginia Historic Society to BLOCK funding for Greenfield which is also slated to include a business park and recreation site.
The county administrator says the league should not tie their school campaign to the future of Greenfield, because the park will benefit all residents. And, the administrator says, the league cannot stop funding for Greenfield.

Cressell is one of two suspects accused of burning and decapitating a black man in Grayson County last summer.
His attorneys, Jeff Dorsey and Mark Claytor, say they'll ask a judge tomorrow to delay the case in order to investigate last week's search of their client's jail cell.
Officials were reportedly looking for marijuana.
But Dorsey, after meeting with his client, says several things don't add up.
Dorsey says the lead investigator in the murder case was involved in the search.

[ANCHOR=Melanie]
[SS=Emmett Cressell]

He also says a box containing legal letters was taken from Cressell's jail cell and when it was returned Cressell was convinced someone had been rifling through it.
Dorsey is also suspicious of the search because of it's close proximity to Cressell's trial date.
