Authorities say three teachers were wounded today when they were slashed with a razor blade at a high school north Dallas, Texas.
A 16 year old student has been taken into custody.

In Jonnesboro, Arkansas a 13 year old boy and his eleven year old cousin are scheduled to appear in court this 6 afternoon to face charges in connection with the deaths of four girls and a teacher at their middle school.
Eleven others were gunned down yesterday outside the school during a false fire alarm.
A candelight vigil was held for the victims last night and today classes are cancelled.

A Botetourt county man says he was gone for 45 minutes, and returned to find his house in flames.

McCauley was a store owner in Danville when he was stabbed to death by Watkins.
Former First Lady Rosalyn Carter asked Governor Gilmore to spare Watkins' life because he has become a devout Christian.

Alcoholic Beverage Control agents discovered this stash of illegal liquor in a garage near the Franklin-Pittsylvania county line.
It all started Monday night, when agents running surveillance arrested 42-year old Stuart Adkins of Penhook for possession of illegal whiskey and discovered fifteen hundred gallons.
Armed with a search warrant, they found another three thousand gallons in a garage on Adkins' property.

The search for a man who reportedly jumped off the Wasena Bridge into the Roanoke River last night has been called off.

Police continued the search this morning after authorities say a "reasonably reliable" witness claimed to have spoken with an unidentified man who talked of jumping off the bridge.
Police say the witness said he was about ten feet from the man when he saw him jump over the rail and heard a splash.

Just a few days after he was named and then removed as head football coach, Mike Berry has resigned his teaching job at Lynchburg's E-C Glass High School.
The resignation comes after officials learned that Berry had served jail time for embezzlement.
