In Pittsylvania County, a jury says an Axton man is guilty of killing his wife and should spend 38-years in jail for the crime.

[SUPER=03-Chatham;]
That was the verdict last night for 29-year old Mark Turner.
He was found guilty of shooting 31-year old Kimberly Turner in the head last October.
The defense claimed the shooting was an accident-- and Mark Turner was too drunk to know what he was doing.
The Commonwealth's Attorney says Turner was mad because he thought his wife was having an affair.
He says alcohol is no excuse.
