Time is running out for Virginia death row inmate Angel Francisco Breard.
The native of Paraguay is scheduled to die tonight, but U-S Secretary of State Madeline Albright says Americans abroad may suffer consequences if Breard is executed.

Governor Gilmore says he will wait to see what the U-S Supreme Court decides today before acting on Albright's request that the execution be blocked.
The United Nations World Court and Paraguayan officials say Breard was not informed that he could contact his native country's consulate after his arrest in 1992.

According to a statement, the girl told police the incident happened March first, when she accepted a ride from a man driving a blue Ford Escort.
The girl told police she'd asked for a ride to a friend's house, but instead was driven to the Mill Mountain Star.

She says the man then took her into the woods and forced her to have sex with him.
The suspect is described as a bearded man, six feet tall, 250 pounds, with brown and gray hair.
