A Bedford County child died yesterday after becoming trapped inside her burning home.

Crews were called out just before eight a-m Sunday, and arrived to find the home near Big Island engulfed in flames.

Authorities say John Lee left his two children in the trailer with his brother while he went to work.
Lee's brother and five- year- old son escaped the trailer when it caught fire, but his two- year- old daughter was trapped inside.

East-bound I-64 was closed for four hours, as wreckers worked to clear the highway.

The victims' injuries ranged from cuts and scratches to a few broken bones.
State police say they're amazed no one was seriously hurt.

Federal investigators hope to know soon if a serial bomber is responsible for three separate attacks in Louisa County.

The federal bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms has sent pieces of three bombs that have killed one person and injured three others in Louisa since December to a lab in Maryland.
The latest bombings injured three people on Friday.

Doctors have upgraded Sabrina Johnson Brewer's condition from critical to serious.

Two men were burned but they were not seriously hurt.
