Roanoke County has come to terms with the landowner, but not with residents who oppose construction of a high school in their neighborhood.

A Roanoke man already accused of trying to kill two police officers now faces charges of murdering his toddler son.

They also say he fired at officers who tried to intervene.

Vaughn's trial is set for July 22nd.
