A West Virginia grand jury has indicted a former Giles County school teacher for allegedly having sex with a female student.
26- year old Jarrod Hines taught and coached at Giles County high school but allegedly had sex with the 15- year old girl at his home in neighboring Monroe County, West Virginia.
Giles County investigators are also looking into the case but have NOT filed any charges.

Several states are experiencing Powerball-Mania today.

The estimated prize on the Powerball lottery tonight is a record 175 million dollars.
Despite the 80 million to one odds against winning, ticket sales are very brisk. A lottery spokesman in West Virginia says that state sold 190 thousand dollars worth of tickets between six and eight this morning.
If you're wondering where in Virginia you can get Powerball tickets, you can't. Virginia is not a participating state.
