in a juvenile detention facility waiting to be tried for murder as an adult.

A former Radford University student will serve at least ten years in prison for setting a fatal house fire near campus, two years ago.

21-year old Michael Harvey pled guilty today to arson and second degree murder.
The fire claimed the life of 21-year old Christopher Mirch who was inside the Delta (Tow- Kie) Tau Chi fraternity house on Grove Avenue.

Harvey had been charged with first degree murder.
But prosecutors agreed to reduce the charge as part of a plea agreement.
They believe Harvey never knew anyone was inside when he set fire to a piece of furniture as revenge for an earlier dispute involving his friends.

Crider's mother thanked everyone who helped bring her daughter's killer to justice.
