At kinkel's home, the mystery only deepened, and so did the danger. police say the boy who liked collecting guns and amo, liked making explosives as well. bomb squad crews spent their second day in a row disarming home-made devices hidden all over the house. one of them so big crews had only one way to get it out. JAN CLEMENT/SHERIFF: THEY'RE WORKING IN A CRAWL SPACEPORTION OF THE HOUSE.
A team of counselors replaced much of the teaching faculty in springfield today. a place of learning that had become a place of killing, was now attempting to become a place of healing.
But the question remains how a boy who spoke so often of killing, and even brought a gun to school, could the next day come back and make good on his threats.
BILL DEFORREST/POLICE CHIEF: THERE WAS NO PROBABLE CAUSE.OR OTHERS.
LEE COWN/CBS NEWS: Even so, police and school officials say the mood has changed. Even a casual conversation about guns or violence between students, between classes may soon throw up a red flag. There's no such thing as a joke anymore. ))

Harvey had been charged with first degree murder.
