The U- S Senate race comes around again in two years--
But Virginia's mostly likely candidates, Democrat Chuck Robb and Republican George Allen, aren't announcing their intentions yet.
Robb won't say yet whether he plans
to seek another term. But he said his decision won't be influenced
by a recent poll showing Allen holding a ten percentage point
advantage in a possible head-to-head race.
Allen said most people who want him back in politics are pushing for a Senate bid against Robb rather than another run for governor a year later. Allen said he's listening to what people say and is getting closer to making a decision.
