Michael Jennings was committed to the hospital after threatening to kill himself in court yesterday.
He also attempted to gouge out one of his eyes during his arraignment before deputies stopped him.

Beard was convicted in 1993 for killing two women who were on their way to a Rainbow Family reunion in Pocahontas County.

Sheriff's investigators found the body of 16-year-old Robert Earl Tuell (Tool) in the back yard of his home in Riner.
Sheriff's investigators say Tuell was mowing the lawn and stopped to move a piece of metal pipe which struck an overhead power line.

Doty's wife says she's glad this terrible ordeal is over.

If deadbeat parents won't pay up in child support, they will give up their license to drive.
The state Division of Child Support Enforcement has started
suspending driver's licenses of non-custodial parents who owe child support.
Last month alone, the agency pulled the licenses of more than 14-hundred deadbeat parents.
This is the first crackdown by the agency since the General Assembly approved the suspension of deadbeat parents' licenses in 1995.

A Henry County teacher accused of having sex with a student has been found NOT guilty.
A judge did not believe the testimony of a 16-year old girl who claimed she had a sexual relationship with Kevin Doty last fall.
