It was a lesson in love.
Teacher Ula Pretlow gathered her students together for what she thought was a last day visit with the principal.
Pretlow's boyfriend, Sam Lyons of Ohio surprised her and her whole class.
He showed up with a diamond ring and 566 mums, roses and carnations-one flower for each of the miles that had separeted the couple.
