Legislation allowing that is under consideration in the Commonwealth, and the National Mental Health Association says that is disturbing.

State and federal officials will work with the Southwest Virginia town to make businesses and homes less vulnerable to floodwaters.
Grundy was devastated by a flood in 1977.

Plans for a proposed new high school in Roanoke County are on hold due to a conflict over tax spending between the Board of Supervisors and the School Board.
The Supervisors have stopped all school construction projects and are creating a committee to monitor spending.
The School Board will present a budget to the Supervisors next week.
