Business is not as good at General Electric.
The G-E plant in Salem is asking workers to take some voluntary time off because there's not enough work to keep everyone busy.
About 150-workers accepted the company's offer and are now on an unpaid vacation.
G-E's production levels typically drop off in the summertime.
In Salem, though, production has been low all year.
In January, the plant laid off 245 people because there was a low demand for the high-tech drive systems made there.

A federal judge will not stand in the way of a Lawsuit challenging Lynchburg's former parade permit ordinance.
It was filed by a Liberty University student.
In a five-page ruling yesterday, U-S District Judge Norman Moon wrote that John Reyes CAN seek damages for being charged with violating the ordinance. The charge was later dropped, and the ordinance was repealed two days before Operation Rescue National began a series of rallies.
The rallies were to protest the jailing of the group's director, who along with Reyes was convicted of trespassing at a school during an anti-abortion protest.
