A tragic shooting involving two small children in Campbell County tonight.

Just after five, deputies were called to this home in the Happy Valley subdivision near Rustburg.
Authorities say a four-year old boy got a hold of a gun and accidentally shot his one-year old sister in the head.
The child was taken to Lynchburg General Hospital where her condition has NOT been released.
Sheriff Robert Maxey says it will be up to the commonwealth's attorney to decide whether the parents should face criminal charges.

Five days after his murder, the family and friends of 22-year old Keith E-Sandifer paid their respects at a wake and a candle light vigil tonight.

Two years of negotiations between the town of Blacksburg and Montgomery County are finally complete.

The deal has been in the works for about two years.
For the town-- the annexation is a way to control the zoning and appearance around its southern entrance-way.

Town Manager Ron Secrist says the fact the deal has been in the works for a while has helped make the transition smooth.

Dallas-based Trammell Crow will pay 39-million dollars for Faison and Associates.
