New evidence suggests the Roanoke apartment fire that killed six people may have been deliberately set.

After a month and a half of investigating, police are now looking for the person who started the blaze.
Police evidence suggests the fire was set in retaliation for the murder of Kevin Lee Jones.
Jones was shot to death on May 17th.
His accused shooter lived in the Church Avenue building that was torched.
Police are looking for someone who had "both the motive and the opportunity" to seek revenge for the murder.

A judge threw out a lawsuit from a mom who said her son was wrongly shot by police.
The judge said "a jury would find that the officers involved in the fatal shooting inside a Blacksburg Revco acted reasonably.

Federal judge Samuel Wilson who yesterday dismissed the lawsuit filed against the town and several of its officers by the man's mother.
Maurice Taylor was shot 12-times after he pointed a mock handgun at three police officers attempting to arrest him inside the drug store.
The judge who dismissed the case wrote that the use of deadly force in this incident was justified and that it was Taylor who set the deadly chain of events in motion.

Gordon is the new head coach of the Express and he's taking over a franchise that has experienced success the past five years under former coach Frank Anzalone.
Roanoke made it to the second round of the playoffs last season and Gordon's job is to take the franchise to the next level.

Now, her opponent will be Yana Novotna. Novotna reaches the finals by upsetting top seed Martina Hingis in straight sets 6-4, 6-4. The two met in last years finals with Hingis coming out the winner.
