Parkway officials say they don't know what caused 54-year old Jimmy Etters of Winton, North Carolina to lose control of his bike.
Authorities say Etters suffered many deep cuts that did NOT appear to be life-threatening.

The Lexington doctor is accused of having sex with patients.
He will be allowed to work as an emergency room doctor, but must be chaperoned when examining female patients.
The ruling came from a Virginia Board of Medicine Panel that met yesterday.
Weddle is accused having a sexual relationship with two of his patients.... he says the charges are false.
He'll appear before another medical panel next month.

Finally tonight--bells were ringing across the United States as part of Independence Day celebrations.

In Philadelphia, hundreds of people gathered at Independence Hall.
While there, four children tapped the Liberty Bell.
The ceremony was part a national event called "Let Freedom Ring".
Bells were also ringing as part of the event at the U-S-S Arizona memorial in Pearl Harbor and at the National Cathedral in Washington, DCTERMS.
