After his first round match at the All england Club, Pete Sampras talked about burnout. He had struggled and made an early exit at the French.
But today, Sampras beat Goran Ivanisevic in five sets to capture his fifth Wimbledon title.

It was by far the toughest match of the tournament for Sampras.
Ivanisevic, who won sets 1 and 4, cranked out 32 aces but he also had 20 double faults and that would end his shot at his first grand slam title.
