A man found dead in a burning car in Lynchburg over the weekend was apparently murdered.

A man's body was discovered Sunday morning in a burning car near Graves Mill Road.
Police now say he was shot in the head and the car was apparently torched to cover the crime.
The car was leased from a rental car company in Boston.. but authorities don't know if the man who rented it is the same person who was murdered.
They hope dental records will help provide a positive identification.

First up was a plan to turn this home on Grace Street into a neighborhood education center that also will house a health clinic and day care facility.

The body was discovered in Blacksburg.
The murder weapon has NOT been found.

Two men who sold imitation drugs will get probation over jail time.

His two year prison sentence was suspended.
Richard Gluth, another member of the drug ring, also had his three-year prison sentence suspended.
