Congress began the day honoring two murdered Capitol police officers.
Lawmakers are voting on a resolution in memory of Jacob Chestnut and John Gibson, who were gunned down Friday inside the Capitol.
The two men's bodies will lie in the Capitol Rotunda tomorrow, a rare honor for someone other than a president or national figure.
The accused gunman will be formally charged today.
Lee Cowan is in Washington with the latest.

FOR THOSE WHO COME TO VISIT IT'S HARD ENOUGH -- FOR THOSE WHO WORK HERE, PARTICULARLY OUTSIDE THE OFFICE WHERE THE TERROR ENDED, IT'S ALMOST UNBEARABLE.
FRIDAY IT'S THE FIRST DAY BACK AFTER FRIDAY'S DEADLY SHOOTING THAT LEFT TWO VETERAN OFFICERS , JACOB CHESNUT AND JOHN GIBSON FATALLY WOUNDED. THE SUSPECT, RUSSEL WESTON CONTINUES TO IMPROVE, NOW LISTED IN STABLE CONDITION - UNDER GUARD -- IN A WASHINGTON HOSPITAL. PHYSICALLY, HE IS FEELING BETTER, DOCTORS SAY - MENTALLY, HIS PARENTS CONTINUE TO FEEL WORSE.

STOPPING TO LEAVE BOUQUETS OF FLOWERS, ACCOMPNAIED BY NOTES --- A QUITE

MOMENT OUTSIDE ONE OF THE BUSIEST AND WELL KNOWN BUILDINGS IN THE WORLD --
IN AN UNPRECEDENTED MOVE, TOMORROW, THE CASKETS OF BOTH SLAIN OFFICERS WILL LYE UNDER THE VERY DOME THEY LOST THEIR LIVES PROTECTING - A TRADITION THAT STARTED WITH ABRAHAM LINCOLN -- THE HIGHEST HONOR FOR THOSE WHO PAID THE HIGHEST PRICE FOR SERVICE.
GARY ALBRECHT//CHIEF CAPITOL HILL POLICE: "Like all these things - now we know we are loved, very greatly."

"Tomorrow afternoon, the Rotunda will be closed to the public for half an hour, allowing a private service for the officers, attended by their families, members of congress, and the President and Vice President. Then both will leave capitol hill for the last time, on their way to separate burials. Lee Cowan, CBS News, Capitol Hill back to you in the studio."))
