The case goes to the jury today in the trial of a Danville man accused of killing his estranged wife's friend.

(La-Kwan) Laquan Stone is charged with first degree murder for the April shooting death of Alvin Averette.
The prosecution argues Stone premeditated the shooting when he came into his wife's apartment with a semi-automatic pistol.
Stone admits he shot and killed Averette, but his lawyers claim Stone acted in a fit of jealousy.
The defense says Stone is guilty of manslaughter and no more.
Closing arguments take place this morning.

Botetourt County deputies have helped apprehend an Augusta County murder suspect.
Twenty-nine year old Guy Jackson Price was wanted in conection with a 19-92 shooting in Augusta County.
He's charged with first-degree murder in the death of Sammy Edward Willard.
Price was apparently living with his parents in Daleville when deputies tracked him down.
