((Even before the first snap of training camp, Several sporting publications tapped the Redskins as a team that would make it to the N-F-L playoffs this season.
And if that happens it will be the first post season play for the Redskins since 1992.)) ((CHARLEY CASSERLY/REDSKINS GENERAL MANAGER:)) ((But even Casserly admitts that on playoff the Redskins would appear to be a playoff contender.

There are 19 rookies in camp and they all have performed above expectations.
And quarterback Gus Frerotte is healthy. Frerotte missed the final three games of the regular season last year with a broken hip.)) ((GUS FREROTTE/REDSKIN QUARTERBACK:)) ((JEFF HOSTETTLER/REDSKIN QUARTERBACK:)) ((ROY STANDUP:))
