The Monroe County, West Virginia prosecutor does NOT think the case involving a Giles County teacher charged with having an affair with a 15 year old student will go to trial.
26-year old Jarrod Hines waived the right for a speedy trial yesterday.
He taught and coached at Giles County high school but was indicted in neighboring Monroe County, West Virginia where he lived.
He allegedly had sex with the girl at his home.
Prosecutors say Hines appears willing to work out a plea agreement.
In the meantime-- investigators are preparing to take pictures of Hines' buttocks-- looking for an alleged birthmark.
