The maternal grandparents of Rebecca Chittum now say they WILL allow DNA testing on the little girl they've raised as their grandaughter.
The parents of Whitney Rogers previously said they wouldn't allow the testing.

Bassett-Walker's Stuart factory will eliminate all 264 jobs when it closes its doors.
But the company maker says most of those employees should be able to find work at the main factory in Henry County.

Rudolph has been eluding authorities in the North Carolina mountains.

More testimony today at a Roanoke murder trial involving a teenager.
The accused, 15 year old Jawawn Hale, was on the witness stand yesterday.
He told the judge about fights he had had with the victim, Michael Andrews.
The first one involved a basketball game the MORNING on January 6th.

Later that day Andrews lay dead in the driveway of Hale's home on Southern Hills Drive.
In the first altercation, Hale testified he managed to free himself from Andrews grasp and run.

Hale said he then when home and got his gun.
He claims it was because he was afraid his little brother might find it and hurt himself.
He said his arm was covering his face when the shots were fired.
When police arrived, Hale admitted he'd shot Andrews.

The waiting begins after the maternal grandparents of a girl believed to have been switched at birth approved DNA testing.
Rebecca Chittum's grandparents agreed to the testing yesterday in the hopes it would bring closure to the case.
The testing took place immediately, but no one knows when the results will be available.

Virginia's mental health facilities are still under the magnifying glass of Governor Jim Gilmore.
Yesterday Gilmore met with mental hospital directors from across the state.
He says he will appoint a special commission and has set aside 800-thousand dollars to improve mental facilities in Virginia.
