One man is in custody charged with stabbing to death a Lynchburg teenager this morning.

Around 9:30, a resident of 120 Hillside Court came downstairs and found 16- year- old Corey T. Pennix stabbed to death in a back room.
Pennix's body has been sent to Roanoke for an autopsy.
Police also seized a station wagon found on Pulaski Street, which they believe the suspect used to flee the scene.

Late this afternoon, police arrested 33- year- old Darryl Lamont Fleming and charged him with Pennix's murder.
Fleming was treated for lacerations to his hand that he apparently suffered during the attack.
Police believe the killing was drug- related.

Weeks later, his decomposed body was found in a wooded area of Henry County.

Yesterday, according to published reports, authorities arrested Roxanna Beck Latham of Roanoke.
She's also charged with first degree murder and one count of grand larceny.
